For Chinese companies operating in Uzbekistan
Stock counts in Uzbekistan that match your books
Stock figures that do not add up, a head office that wants answers, a local team that cannot explain the gap. UzWarehouse acts as an independent third party: we count the physical stock on site, reconcile it line by line with your books and explain each difference and its likely cause.
- Independent third-party count, neutral figures
- Year-end, handover and project-site counts
- Results arranged in the format head office needs
- Independent third party
- Plan and basis agreed before we start
- Photos on file, sign-off by both sides
- Figures organised for head-office reporting
Services
Six services built around your reason for counting
A year-end audit, a change of warehouse manager and a project close-out call for different kinds of counts. We first learn why you need the count, then design how to do it.
Year-end and quarterly counts
Aligned with your head-office audit and quarterly reporting: all stock counted and compared line by line with your 1C, Excel or ERP records, with surplus and shortage values ready for your finance team and approvals.
Ask about thisHandover counts
When a warehouse manager or general manager changes, or a partner leaves, we run a neutral count so that both sides sign the same figures.
Ask about thisProject and site warehouse counts
For steel, cable, pipe, equipment and spare parts spread across several sites, we check issue, return and transfer records and count each warehouse. Especially useful at project close-out.
Ask about thisInbound checks
When a container or truckload arrives, we compare cartons and goods with the packing list, invoice and receipt note. Damage, shortages and mix-ups are recorded on the spot, so claims against suppliers or carriers rest on evidence.
Ask about thisFixed asset count and tagging
Equipment, vehicles and office assets are registered, barcode-tagged and photographed with location and condition, then matched to your asset register to find missing, idle or unrecorded items.
Ask about thisWarehouse audit and difference tracing
We review goods-in and goods-out, locations, documents and access control, and trace each count difference to its cause: entry error, mixed goods, loss or process gap. We finish with practical fixes.

Process
Five steps from stating your purpose to delivering conclusions
Every step leaves a record that can be checked later.
- 01
Start with the purpose
Tell us what the count is for: year-end audit, handover, a claim or routine control. Send an export of your book stock and a short description of the warehouse.
- 02
Agree the basis and roles
We fix the scope, units of measure, item-code matching and cut-off date, and name your contact person and our site lead.
- 03
Count and record on site
We count zone by zone and record every location with photos. Doubtful items are flagged, not judged on the spot.
- 04
Recheck and reconcile
Zones that do not match are recounted by different people, then compared with your books. Differences are grouped by cause: entry error, mixed goods, loss, unrecorded items.
- 05
Deliver and explain
You receive the difference list and the site records. The report language is agreed with you beforehand, and we can go through the conclusions with your finance team or head office.
Our approach
Why bring in an independent third party
When people inside a company count their own stock, the figures are easily disputed. Our job is to give every side one result they can all accept.
Independent, no sides
We have no stake in either the warehouse team or management, so the figures answer only to the facts.
Head office and the floor
We understand how Chinese-owned companies report to head office, and how local warehouses actually receive, issue and document goods.
Evidence that lasts
Count records and site photos for every location are kept, so a write-off or an explanation can rest on proof.
Basis before numbers
Before counting we align units, item codes and the cut-off date, so the same goods do not carry different names on each side.
Language agreed upfront
Working language and report language are agreed with you before we start, so nothing gets distorted between head office and the local team.
Only the data we need
We ask only for the stock and document data a count requires, and nothing unrelated to it.
Estimate
Estimate your count cost
Choose the number of items and the services you need to see a guide price. The final quote is set in the contract once we know the site.

Deliverables
The documents you receive, and what locals call them
These are the usual deliverables, with the Russian and Uzbek titles that local accountants and auditors use for the same papers, so your team can talk to local colleagues. The report language is agreed before we start.

Year-end stock count for head office: timeline and deliverablesHead office wants year-end stock figures and the books do not match the shelves. Work back from the cut-off date: timeline, roles, data to prepare and files to deliver.
Receiving a container from China against the packing listHow to check a container from China against the packing list: seal and photos at the door, counts by shipping mark, and on-the-spot records that support a later claim.
Managing a construction site warehouse: issue, return and countSteel, cable and pipe leave a site store by the handful. Issue and return slips, weekly spot counts, monthly counts and a close-out count keep stock traceable.
Fixed asset count: from the asset register to the shop floorTidy the register first, count by route and match serial numbers rather than names. Then sort results into four groups: matching, different, missing and unrecorded.
Excel versus 1C: a monthly reconciliation with the local accountantPut the warehouse Excel sheet and the accountant's 1C export side by side: agree the date, match on item code, sort gaps into five groups and make it a monthly routine.
Handing over a warehouse: a count that leaves no loose endsA new warehouse manager should not inherit unexplained gaps. What to prepare, how to count with three parties present, and how to record open items in a signed document.
FAQ
Questions clients often ask
When should we contact you for a year-end count?
Usually three to four weeks ahead, so there is time for a site visit, agreeing the basis and scheduling. If time is short, tell us anyway and we will say honestly whether we can fit it in.
Our records are untidy and item codes are inconsistent. Can you still count?
Yes. Before counting we help match item names to codes. Items that cannot be matched are listed separately, and you decide how to book them after the count.
What happens to shortages? Can you help write them off?
A write-off is a decision for your finance team and management. We establish the quantities, give evidence and group the causes, and provide records you can attach to your approval documents.
What data do we need to give you?
An export of book stock from 1C, Excel or your ERP: items, quantities and, if you wish, values. We do not need system accounts or anything unrelated to the count.
Which language will the report be in?
The report language is agreed with you before we start and written into the contract. Tell us what head office and your local accountants each need.
Our materials are spread over several project sites. How do you count them?
We list the site warehouses, schedule them in batches and check issue, return and transfer records. Goods in transit are confirmed with your project manager.
How is the quote built? Are there hidden costs?
The quote lists the number of items, the services and the working time. Travel and accommodation are shown separately, and everything goes into the contract. The estimate tool on this site gives a guide price first.
Can we start with one warehouse as a trial?
Yes. Pick one warehouse or one zone, see the method and the results, then decide whether to widen the scope.
Head office wants numbers the warehouse cannot give?
Tell us what the count is for and what the warehouse looks like. We listen first, then propose a workable counting plan.
